21st Century Skills Curriculum, Data and Digital Badge Training: Redding

Thursday, April 27th and Friday April 28th
Win River Resort Casino, Redding CA

New World of Work, in partnership with Shasta College, is pleased to offer a two-day 21st Century Employability Skills Training open to participants from the North Far North Region. This includes high school educators, college instructors/staff, adult education providers, and workforce development boards who collaborate with their local community colleges.

 New World of Work offers curriculum and resources to help educators prepare students for the 21st Century workplace. The two-day training provides an overview of all 20 college lesson modules, high school video content, data collection templates, 21st Century Digital Badges, and facilitation strategies. The training is fast paced, interactive, and allows instructors time to practice through group teach-backs. The training is best suited for educators doing direct delivery to learners who wish to incorporate soft skills curriculum in their instruction. Participants can earn a non-credit certificate of completion at the end of Day 2. The training will be co-facilitated by Rajinder Gill, Co-Creator and Director of New World of Work, and Heather Wylie, Shasta Faculty and NWoW Instructor.

New World of Work Training: Sacramento

New World of Work is pleased to offer a two-day 21st Century Employability Skills Training for the Greater Sacramento Region hosted by Los Rios Community College District.
The training will be held on the following dates:

• Friday, October 6th from 8:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and

• Saturday, October 7th from 8:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 

The location of the training: Los Rios Community College District Workforce and Economic Development Building in Sacramento, CA.
